From 28 September to 1 October, we hosted students from Uppsala University. In recent years, this has become a traditional course held during the last week of September. This year, students were once again able to attend in person, as the current COVID-19 situation allowed it. Over four days, students became familiar with our reactor and completed six practical exercises. Their professors found the Void Coefficient Measurement experiment particularly interesting, during which air is injected into the reactor core while operating at low power. This simulates boiling within the reactor, allowing students to observe how voids influence reactor power. For the students, the highlight was the final day, when they were able to operate the reactor themselves.
