The Slovenian Press Agency (STA) reported on the 50th anniversary of the first self-sustaining chain reaction in the TRIGA reactor at the Jožef Stefan Institute. The article highlights its key role in educating personnel for the nuclear energy sector and its importance for the development of basic science in Slovenia. A ceremonial event was also held at the Reactor Centre to mark the anniversary.
