From 17 to 28 January, we hosted a researcher from CEA. Together with the Reactor Physics Department, pulse experiments were carried out.The aim of the research campaign was to determine the response of neutron detectors during rapid reactor power transients. More than ten different micro-fission chambers were installed in the reactor core to measure neutron flux at different positions. Additional neutron flux measurements were also performed through activation of dedicated samples.
